Belt clamp for H1 plastic bed (original h1 table)
thingiverse
The initially received H1 lacked a belt clamp for the y-axis belt. A better-fitting replacement clamp allows precise belt fixing without exerting high screw pressure. This design enables adjustment of half tooth of belt pressure by simply inverting the clamp position. An openscad parametric version of this clamp is also available, allowing customization for different belt sizes. The model was created using Google Sketchup, with the source (H1-belt-clamp-bed.skp) provided for download and modification. To export the model to an STL file, use the Sketchup Plugin skp_to_dxf.rb. The model can then be converted to a GCODE file using slic3r after exporting from STL. For those interested in a parametric OpenSCAD version (h1-belt-clamp-parametric.scad), download the software from openscad.org, open the provided file, and press F6 to view the model. To generate an STL version, select "Export as STL" under the "Design" menu.
