Belt Carabiner

Belt Carabiner

thingiverse

I needed a carabiner for my belt at work to hold my gloves and hat. Other carabiners I used were either too small or they spun around on my belt so that the latch was facing inwards. This carabiner will not spin around, and it is large enough to hold any necessary items. I have tested the carabiner at work over the course of a month, and even with rigorous handling, I have had no issues. The last photo shows my first attempt in which I used cotter pins in place of 3D printed pins. The 3D printed pins work fine, but I used cotter pins to prototype and I've been too lazy to replace them. This is my first public design, so I hope you enjoy it!EDIT:After a few failed iterations, I've added teeth to the clip and reinforced the clip with V2.
