Belt Buckle
thingiverse
This is a custom belt buckle that draws inspiration from the Grip6 design. To shape it into its distinctive curve, simply print it flat first, then bend it to achieve the desired form. Next, place it in boiling water for a brief time to soften the PLA material, and immediately position it on the side of a large metal pot. Repeat this process until you obtain the ideal curvature. For the actual belt, you'll need one that's designed to be resized using a lighter. To create a flat end at one point, simply melt the material, then form it into a block that will prevent it from slipping through any hole. I've been wearing mine daily for six months now and it still looks fantastic. What's more, when I went through airport security, I was able to keep my belt on without removing it – a significant advantage. The TSA officers were initially insistent that I take off my belt, but when they realized it was made of plastic, they gave me permission to leave it in place. It was a wonderful experience.
