Belt alignment

Belt alignment

Belt tops and bottoms should be parallel. This reduces trigonometry positioning errors and changing belt tension as the extruder moves. This part lifts the belt and also gets rid of the belt rubbing against the 2020 V sides. You need two 1.5 or 2mm small head diameter bolts to not rub against the adjustable wheel. Bolt length is not important 5 to 8mm is fine. Drill the pilot hole larger using an under sized drill for the bolt you choose and then form the plastic threads using the bolt. The polycarbonate carbon fiber works fine above a 110C heated bed inside a 50C enclosure. The layer time is fast and I printed two parts end to end using no fan for better layer strength. Designed with fusion 360 and printed on a modified CR10S pro with Duet2 Wi-Fi electronics.
