Belly Band Door Stop for Scamp Camper

Belly Band Door Stop for Scamp Camper

I needed a door stop for my Scamp 13' camper - the "belly band" was marring the door every time the wind would catch it or one of us would unintentionally let it slam open. After printing, glue some felt or another pad surface on the outside (down side). Note: I used 17mm for the band width. That's slightly larger than the 5/8" measurement, allowing for a little adjustment. However - it fits too tightly. Feel free to use something to shim the door stop so that it doesn't fall off in the wind. To keep my door open, I am using a length of rope tied to a bungee cord, which is attached to the LP tank. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/ftaFS32mBBl Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 50% or more Notes: The fill isn't something that's a big deal - as long as it's strong enough to not snap the part when you push it onto the belly band. Post-Printing Padding Buy some stick-on felt, or glue on a pad of some sort. I used a scrap piece of neoprene from a workout pad.
