Bellows air pump mechanical part
thingiverse
UPDATE. This approach is not suitable for its intended purpose. The motors lack the necessary power to generate sufficient pressure. However, it still has potential as an educational project. DO NOT PRINT YET. THE MACHINE LACKS THE POWER TO DELIVER REQUIRED PRESSURE. This is my fifth iteration of lung ventilator design. It employs bellows attached between bellow plates. Bellows must extend at least 200mm in length. The external bellows measure 15x15cm in size. Please refer to the attached Fusion 360 file for parts and dimensions. IMPORTANT - THIS MACHINE HAS NOT BEEN TESTED IN REAL-LIFE SITUATIONS. The mechanical component requires additional software to function properly. I utilize two nema 17 motors, MKS GEN L V 1.0 3D printer boards with TMC2208 drivers, and Marlin firmware to test the mechanical part.
