Bellcrank parts for .049 or .020 U-Control airplanes are being made because these specific components aren't reliably available in stock at the hobby shop. As a result, we've started taking them from retired airplanes. An added bonus is that now we have more color options than just "bland white". PLA material is recommended. The "high" quality option performs well. These bellcrank parts were specifically designed for machines that may print slightly thicker, so the parts might feel a bit loose initially. Once they're screwed in, everything should fit together properly. In terms of hole placement and size, they match store-bought parts extremely closely. In my informal testing, these bellcrank parts are more rigid and about as durable as store-bought ones. However, I haven't had the chance to fly using one yet - I've only compared it to a store-bought part so far. Printing at high quality with .15mm layers takes around 15 minutes.
