The Bell UH-1B Iroquois, famously known as the "Huey," is a single-engine utility and medivac helicopter designed in the mid-'50s for the US Army. Produced from 1960, it served during the Vietnam War and beyond, transporting troops and evacuating wounded soldiers under fire. Some were armed with machine guns and rockets to support gunships and transports until the debut of the Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter gunship. Over 17,000 UH-1Bs were built for the US military in the '60s; numerous improved versions followed, with some still in use today. The Huey could carry up to ten troops or six wounded soldiers and features animatable rotors, detailed cabin interiors, and downloadable formats.
