The Bell UH-1B Iroquois, also known as the "Huey," is a versatile utility and medivac helicopter built in the mid-1950s for the US Army. First produced in 1960, it played a crucial role during the Vietnam War, transporting troops and evacuating wounded soldiers under fire. Some Hueys were armed with machine guns, rockets, and other weaponry to serve as gunships supporting troop transports and medivac helicopters until the introduction of the Bell AH-1 Cobra gunship. Over 17,000 UH-1Bs were produced in the 1960s, with many improved versions following; some are still in use today. This model could carry up to ten troops or six wounded soldiers and features animatable rotors, opening doors, and detailed cabin and cockpit interiors.
