The Bell UH-1B Iroquois, also known as the Huey, is a single-engine turbine utility/medivac helicopter developed for the US Army in the mid-1950s and produced from 1960. This versatile aircraft served throughout the Vietnam War and beyond, transporting troops and evacuating wounded soldiers under fire while some were equipped with weapons like 50 caliber machine guns, 2.75-inch rockets for gunship support. The UH-1B was among the first versions of Huey; over 17,000 were built in the '60s, and several improved versions followed, with some still in use today. The helicopter could carry up to ten troops or six wounded soldiers and features an animatable main rotor, tail rotor, openable side loading doors, detailed cabin and cockpit, military light seats, and armored pilot/copilot seats with viewable controls and instrument panels. This model is built near-to-scale, fully textured, includes all materials and textures, and comes in multiple formats for immediate downloading.
