The Bell UH-1B Iroquois, famously known as the Huey, is a single-engine turbine-powered utility and medivac helicopter that was first built in the mid-1950s for the US Army. Entering production in 1960, it played a significant role during the Vietnam War and beyond, serving as both a troop transporter and a medivac vehicle under fire. Some were even modified to carry weapons such as 50 caliber machine guns, 2.75-inch rockets, for use in combat. Over 16,000 were produced in the '60s alone, with various improved versions emerging over time. The UH-1B was one of the first versions of the Huey and could carry up to ten troops or six wounded soldiers at a time. This detailed model is available for download in multiple formats, featuring fully textured design, animated rotors, and openable doors revealing intricate cabin and cockpit details.
