The Bell UH-1B Iroquois, famously known as the "Huey," was a single-engine turbine-powered utility and medevac helicopter designed in the mid-'50s for the US Army. Produced from 1960, it saw extensive service during the Vietnam War and beyond. Equipped with 50 caliber machine guns, 2.75-inch rockets, or other weapons, some were transformed into gunships to support troop transports and medivac Hueys. Over 17,000 were built for the US military in the '60s; the UH-1B was an initial version with numerous improved iterations following suit, some still in use today. Capable of accommodating up to ten troops or six wounded soldiers, this helicopter boasted a fully textured model near to scale, with animatable rotors and open/closeable doors revealing detailed cabin and cockpit interiors.
