A tiny, delicate glass ball is all that remains of what was once a lively family gathering. The Christmas tree stands tall and proud, its branches stretching up towards the ceiling like skeletal fingers. A single, lone ornament hangs from one of the branches, a small, shimmering globe that seems to defy gravity with its perfect balance. It's as if time itself has stopped, and all that's left is this one, small, beautiful thing.
