A ball with perforations containing a bell inside, designed for feline amusement. Printed using PLA due to its glassy texture and pleasant sounding bell. Suitable for Replicator 2 with default settings (15% infill, 3 layers, 0.1mm layer spacing). Can also be printed with more layers for increased durability. Incorporates built-in supports for ease of printing without raft or supports. Available in two sizes: standard and reduced, where the smaller size produces a higher-pitched bell which cats seem to prefer. The supports are designed to prevent rolling during construction but can be easily removed post-printing with an exacto knife or box cutter. After removal of supports, use the same tools to free the bell and its clapper, attached by four small pins. Possible minor updates in future. ABS printing may require adjusted supports due to thickness issues. Additionally, a small hole in the ball can be filled with catnip or silvervine oil before use.
