This model is an Autodesk Inventor update to my previous one which was created in SketchUp. Improvements have been made to the suspension, frame and driving cab internals, while the engines remain more an artistic interpretation rather than an accurate portrayal. The Belaz 75710 ultra-class mining truck is currently the largest in the world with a payload capacity of 450 tonnes. It is powered by two 16 cylinder 65,000 cc diesel engines each rated at 1715 kW (2300 bhp), which in turn power 4 Siemens electric motors, one for each pair of wheels, giving it four wheel drive and 4-wheel steering. When not loaded, only one engine may be used, saving fuel.Width: 9.87 m Length: 20.6 m Height: 8.2 m Wheelbase: 8.0 mPayload: 450 tonnes (270 cubic metres) Weight: 360 tonnes.Tyres: Type 59/80R63 (4.0 m diameter, 1.5 m wide, 5.1 tonnes)Max. speed: 64 kph (40 mph) Max. slope: 18% (1 in 5.5) at full capacity.
