A Dream Come True: Bela Merda means Beautiful Poop in Brazilian Portuguese and it is exactly that, a one-of-a-kind piece of art designed just for you. While it might seem like a bad attempt at humor, this customizable creation has a huge symbolic value in our culture so you can use it to convey negative connotations. You can make a trophy out of it to honor someone who thinks they're full of themselves, or give it as a gift to Murphy the God to protect yourself from bad situations. You can also repurpose it and turn it into an anaconda body or any other spiral design you desire. Additionally, you can post-edit it in Blender and add a rougher surface using Cura's fuzzy skin feature to make it print more realistically. Speaking of archimedean spirals, this is easy to create in 3D modeling software like Blender (add curve -> spiral -> archimedean spiral, set the right parameters, use it as a path for a cone or cylinder, etc.). The implementation is quite efficient in OpenSCAD, but the rendering process can take forever. You might want to wait for the render to finish on the customizer window or ask to create it altogether, or simply download the .scad file and change the variables yourself. I was curious about how a rising spiral could be implemented in OpenSCAD. After a few attempts, I noticed that my first tries looked like garbage. I tried to make it look more and more like that until I came up with a square root function for the decreasing size of the curve, and it turned out so beautiful that I decided to print and share it with everyone.
