BEKANT cable clip hookThis Cable Clip Hook 3D Model is a handy and useful accessory for organizing cables. This clip hook is designed to fit onto the edge of a 16mm thick desk (like IKEA BEKANT) or shelf and securely hold a variety of cables in place. It should be made from durable plastic like ABS, to hold its form over time. The hook is easy to install and can be used with a variety of cables. It is perfect for organizing and tidying up cables around the home, office, or workshop. 3D printing instructions: This model is ready for 3D printing and can be printed using standard 3D printing materials such as ABS and PLA (although PLA would warp over time and the hook would lose its grip on the table). The model should be printed in a resolution of 0.2mm to 0.3mm in order to get the best results. Make sure to use brim for better build plate adhesion and to prevent warping. No supports are required for this model. To save a bit of time and add aditional flexibility and springines don't print top and bottom layers when slicing and leave the infil at about 10-20% in "grid" pattern.Modifying the model for different table thickness: This Cable Clip Hook 3D Model is available in the following formats: .STL, .SCAD and .SVG. Use STL file in order to print it as is. The default model fits nicely 16mm desk without any damage to the wood surface. To make modifications use any vector graphics software (like Inkscape) to open and edit the .SVG file. The dimentions in the file are 1:1 to real world (10mm in the file == 10 mm in real world). Then open the OpenSCAD file and rebuild the model (it's a simple linear extrude funciton on the SVG shape).
