The Behringer Neutron semi-modular synth can easily be converted to a Eurorack module without sacrificing any vital connections by gutting its electronics and mounting them in a custom-built faceplate/enclosure. I decided not to sacrifice the breakout panel that includes MIDI thru, USB, and power connector when converting my Neutron to a Eurorack module. This panel offers essential connectivity options that I couldn't bear to part with. The face panel was carefully designed using laser printing on neon UV paper, laminated for durability, and then cut out to match the dimensions of the 3D-printed faceplate. It was then firmly secured in place using a generous amount of super glue. I prefer to keep my Neutron semi-modular synth powered by its wall wart rather than drawing power from my Eurorack module. The manual clearly states that it requires a steady 1 amp at 12v, which would consume a substantial portion of my Eurorack's total amperage capacity. To address this issue, I installed a dedicated power strip within my Eurorack box for powering the Neutron wall wart and other essential components like the Eurorack power module.
