Disclaimer: I'm no expert, just a novice who stumbled upon this project by chance. I needed some custom fader knobs for my trusty Behringer Deepmind keyboard and decided to give Fusion 360 a try. Despite having no prior experience with design or engineering, I figured it was worth a shot. The process involved exporting the design from Fusion to Meshmixer, where I aligned and solidified the model before exporting an STL file. To my surprise, version 16 of my attempts printed perfectly on my Dremel Ideabuilder using PLA filament, fitting snugly into place. I'm thrilled with the result. For added flexibility when squeezing onto the post, I opted for a 30% infill setting. The resulting plastic has just the right amount of give and take. The original knobs feature a small ridge that's perfect for painting – I chose acrylic white, but you could easily replicate the silver or metal finish found on the originals. It's not a precise replica, but it gets the job done!
