Beetle micro quadcopter frame (brushed motors)
thingiverse
My take on a Quadcopter frame is centered around 8.5x20mm coreless motors and a micro F3 flight controller. I still need to purchase the parts, so my design may change to fit the electronics. The design inspiration came from looking at various quad frames and I liked the hybrid X frame with an organic look that resembled a beetle. That's how the name "Beetle Quad" was born. Parts needed include: 4x m3 nylon screws 4x m3 20mm standoffs (spacer) 4x m3 6mm standoff (column) or hex nuts or screws (I chose the standoff to provide some feet for the quadcopter) 4x rubber grommet for motor mounts Flight controller: Micro 32 bits F3 brushed board https://www.banggood.com/Micro-32bits-Brushed-Flight-Control-Board-Based-On-SP-RACING-F3-EVO-Brush-For-Micro-FPV-Frame-p-1070068.html?X709229380619201703O This flight controller can be found with or without a receiver attached. I have a Flysky i6x transmitter and am buying a separate rx for the above board.
