BeeRotor X200 Front
thingiverse
This was a design I came up with to cover the front of my BeeRotor X200 so grass and water wouldn't get in as easily. It's not perfect, but it works great. I made sure to leave a hole in the front for my flight controller USB, which is at that height because it's set up with standoffs, a PDB, standoffs, then my SPR F3 FC on top. There's a cutout at the bottom of the front part that lets me route the ESC cables into the main body of the quad. I've attached before and after photos of my quad with this cover on... This design matches up perfectly with my HS1177 camera mount for the X200 to cover the front of the quad and secure the camera in place. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1568906 Installation: Two holes are drilled into the sides of the frame, and the two "lugs" on the part fit snugly into these holes. The fit is tight, which pushes against my custom HS1177 camera mount above. If you're using the stock carbon camera mount, I'm not sure if this cover will fit - it might work if your camera mount has a little bump upwards, but I can't guarantee it because I don't use it at all. Printing Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1-0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: Print flat or on its side, both work fine - but printing flat with supports gives a nice finish for the front, while the back might have some support marks that aren't noticeable anyway.
