Beer trophy
thingiverse
This is a trophy skeleton, where you can attach crown caps of beer bottles. It has the shape of an icosahedron, formed by 20 equilateral triangles. To assemble one trophy, you need to print one base model once and one side model 19 times. For securing everything together, you will require numerous screws M3x10 and M3 nuts. I have provided models for a triangle length of 4 and 5 crown caps here. If you choose the smaller trophy with a length of 4, you'll need to drink 190 beers and use 120 screws. On the other hand, if you prefer the larger trophy with a length of 5, you will require 285 crown caps and 150 screws. I have also made available the OpenSCAD design files. If you wish to create an even larger trophy, simply open the file and modify the parameter in the first line. You can also change the text on the base by editing the "base_n.scad" file - adjust the last line and possibly some lines preceding the "textlen" parameter as needed.
With this file you will be able to print Beer trophy with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Beer trophy.
