Beer crate holder for VanMoof S3 bike rack

**Warning: Some beta testers have noticed that some brands have started using crates with different geometries. The general shape is the same but there some have cross sections built in that prevents the crate holder from slotting in the middle. I strongly suggest checking the crates in your local supermarket before starting to print.** Here in the Netherlands people transport all sorts of stuff on their bikes. Including their beer. Usually this is done by setting the crate on the rear bike rack and holding it with one hand. I designed a way to do it hands free. As the 24 bottle crates of most Dutch beer brands adhere to the same standard it was possible to design a holder that will suit most of the main brands. I've tried both a Hertog Jan and Heineken crate and despite small differences in tolerance they both fit. My idea is not new. There already is a product on the market called Kratvast but that product only seems to fit a certain kind of (standard?) bike rack. My specific design is meant for the bike rack of a VanMoof S3. The Fusion 360 file is a big mess so I'm not going to upload it. I did include a STP file for the people wanting to get it to fit to their own bike rack. I'm not planning on making a parametric design so have fun with it.;) Printing: You could use PLA but PETG just seems to be the much safer choice when taking into account the forces that are exerted on the contraption. I used a perimeter of 3 with an infill of 10. It feels mighty sturdy this way. You could always add more for some extra piece of mind. **Edit: a tester has had his holder break on him after significant use. An extra perimeter and extra infill is advised.** Assembly: Print both halves and 4 dowels. The dowels are not necessary but will help with lining up the two parts when glueing them together. I used ordinary superglue. After glueing put some rubber bands or clamps around the assembly and let it dry thoroughly. The glue I used tended to stain the PETG as it oozed out the sides so take care if you don't want to post process it after glueing.
