Occasionally, beekeepers must close the upper opening in a Langstroth hive. Traditional methods often involve using grass, which can be messy and unreliable. To address this issue, I developed an easy-to-use plug that effectively seals the hole while also being simple to remove and boasting a sleek appearance. The design features dimensions tailored for standard inner cover vents and a turn-down handle that clears most Langstroth hive outer covers, allowing for effortless insertion and extraction without disrupting either cover.
