Beehive outdoor drain cover

To replace my problematic flat cast metal cover on an outside basement well exit drain, I sought a custom beehive-style drain cover. The original piece had a sunken section that obstructed the drain opening. The new cover accommodates this design feature and has an 113mm outer diameter for proper fitment. A tripping hazard warning is in place, so painting with a bright color is advised. If using the basement exit frequently, remove and reinstall the cover as needed.
