Beehive Candle Mold
thingiverse
I'm putting together the pieces to form a dual mold for a beehive-shaped candle that's designed to look remarkably like this. Without scaling, the diameter of the base of the hive is about 1.5 inches. There's a small hole at the bottom of the mold where you can thread a wick through the candle before it cools down completely. The extra space opposite the hole can be filled with putty to prevent any wax leakage and it's connected to small tunnels that house excess wicking material. To keep the wick straight, I'm using a simple fixture like this or a metal wick tab.
