Beehive ant stopper

I discovered a swarm of tiny ants infesting one of my beehives, they made their way up one corner of the hive as it sat on the support rack. To prevent them from taking over, I created this two-part stand with a lower section filled with vegetable oil, forming a tiny moat that should deter the ants from crossing into the hive.
