(US only) This is comfy contoured console style grip for the Analogue Pocket handheld. It is modeled from the ground up, but sized to the full scale of several popular console controllers. ABS or PETG is recommended for a better feel, and for heat resistance so it won't melt in your bag or in the car. But it should print great in any filament or resin you choose. Adhesive lining material is required (touching the sides, front tabs, back, and bottom corners) for this grip to fit as intended. Update: v1.5: smoothed out the top surface edges for a greatly improved shoulder rest feeling. This is a small change but it significantly improves the comfort. Update: v1.4: Slightly reduced the rear trigger protrusions, and removed the top rear support bar at the suggestion of several users. I also exported this STL in the exact orientation for printing, no rotation needed anymore. This should help if you are sending out to a vendor for printing. Features: * Console-like contours. Modeled from the ground up by me. * Designed with function and comfortable ergonomics as the highest priority. * Optimized wrist angle placement and screen position for comfort. * Full access to all side and bottom buttons and ports on the Analogue Pocket. * Foam or soft lining is required after printing for correct fit. It will be very loose otherwise. Before you print: * ABS is recommended to minimize scratch risks in the unlikely event that you apply the liner incorrectly, or in the case of misalignment as you insert the system into the grip. Please take care! The well-being of your handheld is your responsibility - any grip no matter what carries a risk of damage to the Analogue Pocket. * Designed with adhesive felt liner of thickness of 0.6 mm. Scale accordingly if yours is a different thickness. You can use any material you'd like such as foam. Felt was recommended to me by several previous customers. Printing: * The model should import into your slicer in the recommended print orientation. * No need for any supports. There is a little bit of overhanging but nothing too severe. * This should be a very straightforward print. * If you choose to you can do some light sanding around the top edge after removal from the print bed. I do this for grips that I sell.
