Beefy Quick Release Plate Replacement

I recently repaired a faulty quick release plate for tripods. This replacement part works with Hama, Cullmann, Velbon, and other similar brands. To install it, you'll need hardware like a rubber sheet, a 1/4" screw, and a snap ring. The repair is compatible with any camera that features a 1/4" thread. I salvaged the sturdy part from my previous quick release plate which was too fragile. My tripod set included a spring and piston mechanism to prevent camera rotation, although this feature is entirely optional.
