Beefy Idlers for Troodon 2.0
prusaprinters
The stock front idlers for the Troodon 2.0 are functional, but lacking in performance, usability, and appearance in my opinion. So, I decided to remix the famous Beefy Idlers for Voron 2.4 printers that was created by Clee. I used Tetsu's Symmetrical BFI remix of the original design as the basis for this remix.Note: Due to the extra thickness I had to give the idler arms to accommodate the Z belt hooks, shorter hotends/lower toolheads might not be compatible with this mod since the Z carriages on the front are lowered. Before installing these, lower your nozzle down to the point where it touches the bed and measure the distance between the bottom of the z carriage and the bottom of the printer. If this distance is 15mm or greater, these idlers are compatible with your setup.A better version of this idler remix would include a better Z mounting system so that the stock hooks can be bypassed. I'm just not good enough at CAD yet to do this myself.Optional spacers included for the back Z carriages.
