Beefy hinges designed specifically for my printer door, engineered to withstand the weight of my heavy 700x700mm acrylic door that had previously caused other designs to snap. I had explored several previous designs that were not only aesthetically pleasing but also slimmer in profile. - Printed at a resolution of 0.2 mm with 40% infill using ABS, chosen due to the high temperature inside my printer enclosure, which reaches up to 70 degrees Celsius. - The attachment holes are designed for M5 countersunk bolts, featuring a 45-degree chamfer for secure fastening. - An M5 x 50 mm bolt is used as the hinge axle, providing added stability and strength. - The hinges are spaced 20 mm apart, allowing for easy mounting to aluminium extrudes if desired.
