Remix of Beefy Glock Sight Press by David. I took his SolidWorks files and made these changes: Body (Printed @ 75% infill, 100 grams ABS): I removed the chamfers around the edges to reduce the risk of corners lifting off during use. To prevent the same problem, I added "Mickey Mouse" ears on the corners. The width dimension of where the Glock slide sits is now set at 26.50mm. This change was made to ensure a better fit for the Glock 17 slide with less playroom. Additionally, I changed the nut cavity width to 14.75mm (flat to flat) so that it fits perfectly into Everbilt 3/8in-16 Grade 8 nuts bought at Home Depot (Sku#87480-16458). Handle (Printed @ 50% infill, 20 grams ABS): Similar to the body changes, I removed chamfers around edges and added "Mickey Mouse" ears for the same reasons. The handle cavity was changed from a circle to hex with an overall width of 14.75mm (flat to flat). This allows it to accommodate a 3" long, fully-threaded bolt bought in bulk at Home Depot and also fits perfectly into Everbilt 3/8in-16 Grade 8 nuts purchased at Home Depot (Sku#87480-16458). After the handle is installed, I recommend that you screw the nut all the way up to the head of the bolt then glue it securely in place. This increases the engagement surface area of the handle significantly. Slide (Printed @ 100% infill, 20 grams ABS): Similar to the body, I removed chamfers around edges and added a skirt to reduce corners lifting during use. Since no supports were used initially, this part now uses Simplify3D's auto-generated support feature. The width of metal insert indents was adjusted from both sides to fit in the Everbilt Draw Bolt 1/4in-20 x 3-1/2in pieces bought at Home Depot (Sku#87480-13708) perfectly.
