The Beechcraft T-34 Mentor V15 USN model boasts a near-scale design (within 3-4%), fully textured, built initially in Max 7 in 2006 and later updated with Max 11 in 2017. The update included high-quality mesh, enhanced detail, better cockpits, improved textures, and higher quality diffuse mapping. Over 95% of the mesh has been replaced or heavily modified. It includes materials and textures as shown in renderings and is available in multiple formats for wide user compatibility. This model features various liveries, suitable for in-flight or airport ground animations, videos, or simulations. It can also populate an airport scene. Animated features include a propeller, ailerons, flaps, rudder, and elevators. The semi-detailed cockpit includes control yokes, grips, engine controls, rudder pedals, seating, and instrument panel. Moreover, it features animated control surfaces like ailerons, elevators, rudder, and flaps, operating within their nominal range of motion. The propeller is also animated at idle speed. The T-34 Mentor was designed to replace aging trainers from WWII era, derived from Beechcraft Bonanza with a tandem two-seat fighter cockpit replacing the four-place cabin. Known for its agility and speed, it served as an advanced trainer providing complex aircraft experience to students. From the 1950s until mid-1960s, T-34s were in production before being phased out by the end of the 1970s from USAF, Navy, and USMC inventories. Many were sold to other countries or transferred to the Civil Air Patrol.
