The Beechcraft T-34 Mentor V01 is a meticulously crafted model, initially constructed with Max 7 in 2006. It's near to scale (within 3-4% of actual size) and fully textured. An updated version was created using Max 11 in 2017, boasting high-quality, smoother mesh, more detail, better cockpits, enhanced textures, and improved diffuse mapping. A whopping 95% of the original mesh has been replaced or heavily modified. The model comes in various formats for diverse end users and features multiple liveries, perfect for incorporating into in-flight or airport ground animations, videos, or simulations. It can also be used to populate an airport scene. Featuring an animated propeller, animateable ailerons, flaps, rudder, and elevators, this model replicates the iconic T-34 Mentor faithfully. The semi-detailed cockpit includes control yokes, grips, engine controls, rudder pedals, seating, and an instrument panel. Additionally, it boasts animated control surfaces like ailerons, elevators, rudder, and flaps, all moving within their nominal range of motion. The propeller also animates at idle speed, adding to the model's realism. The Beechcraft T-34 Mentor was designed as an advanced trainer to replace outdated WWII-era trainers. A development of the Beechcraft Bonanza, it features a tandem two-seat fighter cockpit instead of the four-place cabin. Known for its agility and speed, the Mentor provided students with complex aircraft experience. Produced from the 1950s to the mid-1960s, T-34s were later phased out from USAF, Navy, and USMC inventories in the 1970s. Many were sold to other countries, while some were transferred to the Civil Air Patrol.
