The Beechcraft T-34 Mentor, a replacement for WWII-era trainers, was designed as an advanced trainer. Originally built in 2006, this model is nearly to scale and fully textured. In 2017, it underwent updates with Max 11, including enhanced mesh, more detail, better cockpits, improved textures, and high-quality diffuse mapping. Around 95% of the mesh was replaced or heavily modified. The model comes in various formats for diverse users, features numerous liveries, and is suitable for in-flight or airport ground animations, video, or simulation. It also populates airport scenes and has an animated propeller, as well as animateable ailerons, flaps, rudder, and elevators. Its cockpit is semi-detailed, with animated control surfaces, including ailerons, elevators, rudder, and flaps. Originally in production from the 1950s to mid-1960s, T-34 Mentors were phased out of the USAF, Navy, and USMC inventories by the 1970s but continued to serve in other countries or with the Civil Air Patrol.
