Beechcraft Bonanza or Baron Glove Box Door

Over the years, many Bonanza and Baron glove box doors have been sacrificed or discarded to accommodate avionics installed in the glovebox. As avionics have become more compact and powerful, they no longer require installation in the glovebox, making it unnecessary to sacrifice a door. Unfortunately, this has resulted in many lost or discarded glovebox doors. Replacement doors are scarce and expensive. This 3D printed door is an ideal replacement featuring a large Beechcraft "B" prominently displayed on the door panel. The latch was designed with a knob that threads onto an 8-32 shank, which passes through the door. A 3/8" by 1" latch was fabricated and trimmed to secure the door tightly when closed. An 8-32 hole was drilled and tapped, accompanied by a 6-32 set screw to prevent it from rotating on the shaft. 6-32 cap screws are used to create stops for the latch. These holes must be drilled to size and tapped for the cap screws. More information about this project can be found at https://www.beechtalk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=133721.
