This highly detailed model accurately represents a near-scale version of the Beechcraft 99 Airliner, featuring fully textured exteriors and numerous animateable parts including flaps, rudders, propellers, landing gear, and doors. It's perfect for in-flight animations, videos, or simulations, as well as airport scene populating. Originally produced from 1966, the Beechcraft 99 replaced the Beechcraft model 18, utilizing turboprop engines to carry larger loads more efficiently. Derived from the King Air and Queen Air aircraft, this non-pressurized plane was in production until 1987 when it lost sales to the pressurized Beechcraft B1900C and B1900D. Despite being discontinued, many Beech 99s are still operational globally, with over half serviced by Ameriflight primarily across North and South America.
