The Beechcraft 99 Airliner, which began production in 1966 as a replacement for the Beechcraft model 18, features Turboprop engines and improved load efficiency. Developed from the King Air and Queen Air aircraft models, it lacks pressurization. Production ceased in 1987 due to competition from the Beechcraft B1900C and B1900D, which offer increased passenger/freight capacity.
