This is just a remix / improved version of my earlier bee queen catcher (thing:4517227) based on feedback received. It does include some improvements that are meant to reduce the chance of harming the queen (overlapping sides and a front that does not entirely close). So here is my take on a bee queen catcher. The main difference (as compared to most other designs) is that it actually integrates the clothes pin rather than reprinting it. The main focus in the design was on making it really easy to print. The openings are 4.1 mm to (theoretically) allow for the worker bees to escape. I used two little screws I had lying around but it should work very well without (with 2 drops of glue). Should be an easy print, no supports or plate adhesion needed. Print at 0.2 mm resolution and with 30+% infill, preferably with transparent filament.
