Early stages of design still unfolding. Modifications may be necessary for a perfect fit and optimal use. I'm creating this specifically for a close friend. If you're an avid beekeeper or planning to establish a hive, Bee lining is a reliable method to locate a wild hive. This is my initial attempt at crafting a 3D printed Bee lining box. The transparent window area in the lid will be secured with clear PET tape or adhesive. Simply cut out this piece from a discarded drink bottle or clear packaging material. The hinge and latch are designed to accommodate a length of 1.75mm filament as both the hinge pin and latch pin. To ensure smooth printing, I've split the box into two separate components, eliminating the need for support structures. Tiny holes along the sides allow for easy attachment of leather or nylon straps, enabling you to hang the Bee lining box from a pole, post, or stake.
