This bee hotel can be easily assembled using screws with a 3mm thread, max 7mm screw head or by gluing the pieces together with wood glue, which has PVA as its primary ingredient. The Hive features four different cell sizes: 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 7mm. From outside to inside, the cells measure 45mm, 50mm, 55mm, and 60mm deep. This design caters to various bee species, each with its unique preferences for cell size and depth. I recommend using a natural-based filament as bees tend to dislike other materials. For this project, wood PLA is an excellent choice due to its wood-like texture and biodegradable properties. Once the print is complete, I will take a picture and share it on this platform. Additional features include decorative borders to enhance the hotel's appearance. Further enhancements have been made with the inclusion of butterfly slits and ladybug holes; these holes are ideal for adding natural wood excelsior inside for added charm.
