However, there exists a lesser-known species that thrives in solitude. These solitary bees do not reside in beehives; instead, they occupy tiny holes within wood, stone, or earth. Depending on size, these holes range from 3 to 10mm in diameter and up to 150mm in length. They utilize these tunnels throughout the seasons: hibernation in winter, shelter in autumn, nursery in spring and summer. Bees play a vital role in maintaining a healthy world by promoting diverse flora and increasing fruit and vegetable yields. These harmless creatures contribute significantly to a better world.
