Bee Feeder

During spring, honeybees or Apis Mellifera might be running low on their stored honey as flowers haven't started blossoming yet. To help them, consider feeding them sugar water using this practical and efficient feeder! This feeder is designed to fit hives with 3/4 to 1/2 inch thick walls and a 3/4 to 1 inch high entrance. It utilizes a standard canning jar as its container and features a drip catcher "pond" inside for bees to drink from, while also preventing stickiness outside the hive. The feeder also has an external overflow drain hole, unlike other store versions that often lack this feature. Additionally, it hooks into the frame so it won't fall out, and its threads are part of the plastic, ensuring the jar can't be bumped out. The three entrance/exit tunnels with inner roundabout make it printable without support material. However, please note that due to a design flaw, this feeder is currently only compatible with jars shorter than a pint. A pint-compatible version will be released soon. When printing from PLA, use 10% infill and 3 shells for strength. The feeder was designed without supports; however, there may be some "hangies" that need trimming. Cleaning the inside might require a chisel or sharp screwdriver, while the holes might need to be poked back open with a hot dental pick or needle.
