Bee Deep Frame Feed Ladder
thingiverse
I designed this print because I could not get replacement ladders from anywhere. would have to buy a complete frame feeder to get this part. I have NOT tested it on the bees yet. It DOES fit in the feeder. As I used PLA I'm not sure the lifespan or potential risks to human and bee health. I would recommend printing this at your own health risk and potentially picking a food-grade / food-safe material, maybe Nylon? Its 255mm tall and my Ender 3 printed this at default speeds at 0.2mm layer height with a stock 0.4mm nozzle. No supports are needed due to the opening at the bottom. I printed it upside down to give the best bed adhesion using a 10mm brim (extra 20mm all around). ... EDIT I'm a month in use and it's doing fine, I would still reconsider using a food-grade plastic. I have only found 1 drowned bee and that could have been from me filling faster than she could have moved.
