Bee-bot bulldozer
thingiverse
I teach robotics to kids and Bee-bot is a must-have! I thought it would be awesome for Bee-bot to collect objects from a track and place them in a corner, like a recycling center where Bee-bot separates plastic, glass, aluminum, and more into their own bins. Currently, I've released two versions. The first version, Bee-bot bulldoze plastic pin, uses a plastic printed pin that gets inserted into the hole at the back of the Bee-bot during installation. However, depending on use, this pin might break over time. As a result, I designed a second version, Beebot bulldoze metal pin, which has a hole where you must glue a 4mm threaded rod with a length between 10-20mm using CA glue. You also have the option to print one of the two spacers provided if you want to tighten the PLA part to the Bee-bot using a nut. If this project inspired an idea for teaching and made your life easier, consider making a small donation! It will help me design more Bee-bot add-ons! Edit: The idea behind this project isn't mine; a similar part can be bought ready-made and is called Bee-bot pusher. Edit 2: Due to the geometry of the front, Bee-bot is unable to bulldoze big or circular objects because they escape during turns. I'll redesign the part and post it soon!
