A granite monument is placed on the tower of Beder Church in Østjylland, Denmark. From the figure's clothing, the stone dates back to approximately 1200 AD. A warrior is depicted wearing a type of "pleated" tunic and holding a small helmet called a kalot on his head. The warrior holds a sword with a fine hilt in his left hand, and between the sword and his head is a bell. In his right hand, he holds a shield. Near the warrior's left foot stands a four-legged animal, possibly a wild boar. At his right foot, remains of a leg can be seen. It is likely that the leg belongs to an image of a wild animal, perhaps a mythical creature. The depiction may represent Christ victorious, defending his deer against a possible demonic animal. Such representations are known from other contemporary church art. The granite monument is in poor condition. Large parts of the reliefs have disappeared, but can be inferred through color analysis of the stone. To create a 3D presentation, 28 photographs were taken with a FujiFilm XF10 camera. The photographs were processed into 3D using PhotoModeler Premium by Eos Systems.
