Bed Test

Bed Test

thingiverse

I'm testing a pair of 200x200 shapes to push the limits of my Z-calibration and observe warping in the bed. The prints are done with minimal squishing while maintaining adhesion; any low or high points on the first layer will become apparent once the print cools down and is removed. With a MK42 bed on an I3 Mk2, I've noticed poor adhesion at the rear left of my cal2 test - the perimeter of the bed looks good, but the middle appears slightly dished. To adjust this issue, I set 'bed level correction' negative at the back and positive at the front.
