bed stabilizer and glass mount for anet a8 or similar
thingiverse
Noticed my bed swaying noticeably, about a few millimeters, towards the end of a heavy print job, likely due to its tall stature and added weight from a 3mm thick glass bed. Early on, I discovered that keeping the spring tension on the bed screws to a minimum significantly reduced the likelihood of bed warping while heated, which also contributed to the swaying motion. For setups similar to mine, this modification should improve print quality on tall prints. The design allows these components to serve as both glass holders and spring stand-offs, differing slightly from the original model due to the Anet's distinct bed carriage style. Printing without supports works seamlessly with this setup.
