Bed of Nails (Test for even light distribution LCD / DLP / SLA Printers)
thingiverse
This is a crucial test print for lcd printers designed to verify even UV light distribution across the build plate. Simply print this design and carefully inspect the nails for visibility along the entire plate. If they are clearly visible, it indicates that the light is evenly distributed. Conversely, if some or all of the nails remain invisible, you may need to create a custom mask image using photography or other DIY techniques to achieve even UV illumination. Once you have created your mask image, upload it into your software and apply it to every print to ensure consistent results. This specific file was not created by me, but rather by Frank Collingwood, a visionary genius in the field indeed!
