Bed Nut Anti-shakeoff Lock
thingiverse
A small, convenient and highly effective lock to prevent the four corner nuts holding your print bed down from getting shaken off and letting the bed loose during print. I made them for my CR-10S Pro machines, but then realised they also work on my Wanhao Duplicator 12/500 - the nuts holding down the bed have similarly sized holes - and I now use these on the D12 as well. After you do your auxilliary bed level, just slip them into one of the gaps in each of the nuts. They're designed to not interfere with anything. Remove the wedges by pulling using the tab. Once they're in, the nut isn't going anywhere. I recommend using packing tape on CR-10S Pro machines to keep the Z motor wires from protruding and getting caught in/by the bed nuts. Packing tape will also rustle and make noise that will alert you to a problem if ever anything starts scraping past it with each move. See the photo for how I use tape in this way. Fusion 360 source file included. Stay safe and happy printing.
